This is a gorgeous, silver plated, teardrop-shaped sauce boat from Sambonet of Italy, furnished to TWA by Oneida. The design impressed in the handle and foot matches the flatware of the period. Excellent condition, showing typical signs of repeated use - plating is very good inside and out. "TWA" on the base.

Where does the fork go in the States?
The fork goes to the left of the plate, tines up. If salad forks, oyster forks, etc. are used, they go to the left of the main course fork.
The knife goes to the right of the plate.
The spoon goes to the right of the knife.
