GBC HeatSeal H312 Jam Free Pouch Laminator Product Review
The GBC HeatSeal H312 Jam-Free Pouch Laminator offers photo-quality lamination for low to moderate volume applications in small offices and homes. This 12.5 inch machine can laminate documents up to menu size with either 3 or 5-mil laminating pouches. Includes several features to prevent pouch jamming and includes a special pouch cleaning sheet to remove excess adhesive that may have built up on the rollers.
Technical Summary:
The GBC HeatSeal H312 pouch laminator has a 12.5" wide throat that can accommodate documents up to menu size (12"x18") and uses laminating pouches up to 5 mil thick. The variable, rotary temperature control and optional cold setting for heat-sensitive materials gives you ultimate control for professional laminating results. Two heated rollers provide photo-quality lamination for documents up to 12.5" wide. This GBC laminating machine features GBC's patented Jam-Free technology to guard against pouch misfeeds to ensure quick, expert lamination with each use. It is able to laminate documents at speeds up to 14" a minute and the automatic shut-off feature turns off the machine after 60 minutes of inactivity, which saves power, thereby increasing the lifespan of your H312. It takes approximately 4 minutes to warm up and includes a release lever to remove pouches for realignment. The visual and acoustic alert system lets you know when it's ready to use. This GBC laminator does not require a pouch carrier for applications.

Baby Carrier for hiking??
Hello- I'm looking to start going on some hikes with my 6 month old daughter.
I've heard of using the soft backpack style ones like ERGO or BECO...but are the bigger ones like that look like a huge backpack and have metal on them and everything more comfortable??
Which kind is better? OR what other one do you recommend?
I have a pouch sling- but I don't think that would work that well.
I have a backpack carrier, it is one of the big ones with a metal frame, but it weighs almost nothing and is great for hiking. It is a Kelty brand and was one of my best purchases. I have a Bijorn and several slings, but for extended hiking I cannot carry in one of those.
Also, Maya is 3 and we can still carry her in the pack comfortably, which is nice. So, yes, they are MUCH more comfortable and I could even kind of forget she was up there.
Also, you can adjust the band that goes around your waist, so if you are feeling pressure in one part of your shoulders or back you pull a strap, and you can carry the weight totally differently.
If you do a lot of hiking then one of these is a must. Check Craigslist or local second hand stores as well. You can got one for $50 instead of $200. Babies r Us has them on display as well. You can put your daughter in it and try it on.
